MEL HARPER
Intricate pen n' ink drawings of local mountains and landscapes and more. Created with black ink; some colored with pencils, pens, and watercolor, and some incorporate her photography in a layered design. Her work is available framed or matted, as Greeting Cards, and on some objects. She also designs mattes and makes wood frames from local antique wood. In addition, jewelry crafted from Mel, mining and creating from local stones and gems, custom carved and inked leather goods, and hand-made knives with antler or stone handles.
Mel is involved in AWE, Artists of the West Elks, and is on the Board. She has participated in numerous shows and donations. Mel can be contacted for custom orders on all of the above and about art classes for kids.
